It’s About To Get Cold In Nova Scotia, Some Areas To See Below -20 Degrees This Week

Get your parka out! It’s about to get colder in Nova Scotia than it has this winter and with the windchill it’s going to feel even worse.

We can expect a mixed bag of weather across the province Sunday and Monday with some flurries and showers to start the week, but Monday night expect the cold air to move in.

Temperatures could drop below -20 degrees in some areas at night. For instance, daytime highs in Truro on Tuesday likely won’t exceed -14 degrees and that night, drop to -20. It could feel like -23 degrees with the windchill.

Amherst will be more cold and could fall to -21 degrees on Tuesday night and feel like -26.
