Gas And Diesel Prices Set To Tumble Friday Night As Interrupter Clause Put In Place

Gasoline and diesel prices will further fall back across the province tonight. The Interrupter Clause will be invoked at midnight setting the stage for a further addition last night’s 4.1 cent drop.

The price of regular self-serve gasoline in Halifax is currently set at a minimum of 182.1 cents per litre and as always is a little higher outside of the city. Diesel is currently set at a minimum of 199.7 cents per litre in the Halifax area.

When new prices are set at midnight diesel will tumble 17.6 cents per litre and gasoline will fall 9.8 cents per litre.

If you can wait to fill your tank tomorrow morning you will save a few dollars, especially if you use diesel.
