The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has announced that the Interrupter Clause will be in effect tonight for both gasoline and diesel. Prices will drop below $2 per litre for both.
The price of gasoline is currently set at 203.4 cents per litre in the Halifax region and a bit higher the farther you travel from the city. Diesel is currently priced at 204.7 in the Halifax region.
As of midnight tonight, expect to see a drop of 10.5 cents per litre with gasoline and a drop of 10.2 cents per litre for diesel. Gas will be priced tomorrow at 192.9 and diesel at 194.5 cents per litre.
Prices will be higher as always outside of the city.
