Interrupter Clause In Effect: Diesel Will Continue It’s Climb Tonight – That’s +40 Cents / Litre This Week

Another hit to the pocket book of Nova Scotians as the price of diesel will rise again tonight at midnight. The Nova Scotia Utility And Review Board has put the interrupter clause in place for the fuel.

The price will increase by 13.8 cents per litre at midnight, which will mean the price has increased over 40 cents per litre this week.

Diesel is currently selling for a minimum of 212.9 cents per litre in the Halifax region and after midnight will sell for a minimum of 226.8 cents per litre. The price will be higher outside of Halifax.

The price of gasoline will not change tonight.
