Gasoline Will Cross The One Dollar Mark In Many Areas Of The Province Tonight (Thursday, August 27)

If you like saving a couple of dollars, you may want to fill your gas tank tonight as the price of gasoline will be going up at midnight.

If diesel is your fuel, you will likely see nothing in the way of change.

Nova Scotians can expect to see a rise of 3.7 cents per litre in the price of gasoline.

In the morning, residents in the Halifax area will likely be paying a minimum of 99.1 cents per litre of gasoline.

Those residing outside of Halifax in areas like Yarmouth, Truro, Amherst and Sydney will pay slightly more and see prices above $1 per litre.
