At midnight tonight, The Nova Scotia Utility And Review Board will set the new prices for gasoline and diesel.
The current gasoline price in the Halifax area is set at a minimum of 66.9 cents per litre. Diesel is set at a minimum of 66 cents per litre.
We’re predicting the price of gasoline to raise around 4 cents per litre and the price of diesel to remain the same. Earlier this week the interrupter clause was invoked and lowered the price of diesel in Nova Scotia.
The new price in Halifax for gasoline will be about 70.9 cents per litre and diesel will be about 66 cents per litre. Areas outside of the city such as Yarmouth, Amherst, New Glasgow, and Sydney will be slightly higher.
