Fraud Warning: People Are Impersonating My Home Apparel And Selling “Stay The Blazes Home” Clothing

Online shoppers be warned. People are selling “Stay The Blazes Home” clothing online and the products are fake. My Home Apparel, based out of Truro, Nova Scotia posted a warning to their Facebook page yesterday.

Fraudulent companies steal My Home Apparel’s logo and set up a look alike Facebook page as well. They pay Facebook to advertise their fake products to get them seen by many people. It looks very genuine, but it is not.

When you purchase genuine Stay The Blazes Home clothing from My Home Apparel, 100% of the proceeds stay local and go to Shelter Nova Scotia, Feed Nova Scotia, and the QEII’s COVID-19 unit. In fact, My Home Apparel has raised over $100,000 for these worthy causes.

The fraudulent clothing is being sold on websites called Moteefe among others. They are websites anyone in the world can upload a design to and the clothing company prints and ships on demand

We spoke with My Home Apparel and they told us, “We have submitted trademark infringement complaints to Moteefe but nothing gets done.”

“We don’t know where it originates from, anyone in the world can upload onto Moteefe.”

My Home Apparel has become aware of three different people or groups selling fake “Stay The Blazes Home” clothing online but getting them shut down is difficult.

Nova Scotia Buzz made contact with a person impersonating My Home Apparel and they made the claim proceeds went to charity. Money spent on the fake websites does not. Do not be fooled by them.

You should only purchase genuine “Stay The Blazes” home clothing from My Home Apparel’s Website. Remember, 100% of the proceeds stay in Nova Scotia and help those in need.
