COVID-19 Testing Available On Site In Kentville For The Next Two Weeks

The centre is located at the e Kentville Visitor Information Centre at 125 Park Street in Kentville. It will run daily from 10:15am until 5:30pm.

Nova Scotia Health is advising that there will be a temporary COVID-19 testing centre in Kentville available to anyone with or without symptoms. The centre opens on Friday, October 22 and runs until Friday, November 5.

The centre is located at the Kentville Visitor Information Centre, 125 Park Street in Kentville. It will run daily from 10:15am until 5:30pm.

Drop-ins are accepted. You may also book an appointment by visiting here.

There is currently an outbreak of COVID-19 in a non-COVID-19 unit at the Valley Regional Hospital in this community.

Important notes when visiting the COVID-19 testing centre:

  • Please bring your health card with you, if you have one.
  • You will be required to wear a mask when entering the testing centre.
  • Unless you have symptoms, you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your results, unless directly advised by Public Health to isolate.
  • The testing method is standard PCR swab or Swish and Gargle for children and youth. Preparation is required for gargle testing. View instructions. View instructions online.
