Believe It Or Not, The Price Of Gas Will Drop At Midnight – Wait To Fill Your Tank

Gas will not fall back to where it was before all the recent increases but Nova Scotians will receive a break at the pumps this week.

The price of regular self-serve gasoline in Halifax is currently set at a record high minimum of 186.2 cents per litre and as always is a little higher outside of the city. Diesel is currently set at a minimum of 199.7 cents per litre in the Halifax area.

When new prices are set at midnight diesel should remain steady at its current price, but gasoline will fall to a 182.1 cents per litre. Although savings of 4.1 cents per litre isn’t much, if you were waiting to fill your tank, this might be the time as we expect prices to continue their recent upward trend.
