A Snowfall Warning Was Just Issued For Areas Of Nova Scotia – Here Is What To Expect

A Snowfall Warning has been issued from Halifax County to Yarmouth County along the coast in anticipation for what Environment Canada says is 15-25 cm of snow.

The remainder of Nova Scotia can expect possibly 15 cm of snow.

The government department says the snow will fall mainly late Wednesday and Wednesday night.

“The snow will reach western Nova Scotia Wednesday afternoon, and spread to the rest of the province later in the day.” says Environment Canada in their Snowfall Warning.

“A mixture of rain and snow will occur along the south shore into the evening. Strong northeasterly winds will likely produce some blowing snow as temperatures fall during the night. The highest accumulations will occur over inland areas of Shelburne, Queens, and Lunenburg counties.”

Be prepared to drive with caution and avoid travel if not required.
