#1 Birch & Anchor – Bedford Basin
Birch & Anchor is back for another year on the shores of Halifax Harbour. Located on the Bedford Basin, it's a must add to your summer bucket list. They are now open for the season. Be sure to get here early as it fills fast.
You need to try their nachos, they're simply the best in the city. Birch & Anchor also offers a large selection of Nova Scotia craft beer and refreshing Nova Scotia Spirit Co. Blue Lobster Vodka Sodas among other beverages You can even cruise up to their wharf and they will deliver right to the boat!

#2 Niche BBQ & Beer Yard – Downtown Halifax
Niche always had one of the best patios in Downtown Halifax. Usually located at the base of Spring Garden Road on Barrington, last summer they moved into the quad of The Four Points Sheraton.
The Beer Yard is opened weather depending starting in May!. You can find out if it's open on their website. Niche is known for their happy hour from 4:00pm to close everyday.

#3 The Old Triangle’s Bedford Row Patio – Downtown Halifax
Last summer ass a result of COVID-19, The Old Triangle in Halifax extended their patio out onto Bedford Row. We hope it happens again this summer.
It was always an awesome spot to catch live entertainment, but you could enjoy it even more in the street while having a Guinness or two!

#4 Dear Friend Bar Patio – Downtown Dartmouth
Dear Friend Bar is a cocktail and wine bar in Downtown Dartmouth. It was opened by the folks at The Clever Barkeep.
When it opens for the season, they have one of the best hidden patios in the city which is located behind their business.
Hop the ferry to Dartmouth and check them out

#5 Brightwood Beer Garden – Downtown Dartmouth
Brightwood Beer Garden might have the best views in the city. It will be located on the Dartmouth waterfront at Alderney Landing again this year and just a hop from the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal. A must add to your summer bucket list.
Enjoy a selection of Brightwood Beer and their Brightyard Cider. It's a team effort between them and Chainyard Urban Cidery. It's only sold at this location.
