1) Nova Scotia Summerfest – Antigonish, NS
Taking place on Columbus Field in Downtown Antigonish on August 19 and 20, Nova Scotia Summerfest has the ultimate concert lineup.
Canadian rockers and Antigonish natives, The Trews take to the stage Friday night along with Cape Breton’s Jimmy Rankin. Walk Off The Earth and Neon Dreams play Saturday night. Other performers include Myles Goodwyn of April Wine, Cassie & Maggie, Anna Ludlow, Campbell & Johnston, The Ennis Sister, Pineo & Loeb plus many more.
2) Riverfront Jubilee – New Glasgow, NS
One of the best three day festivals in Nova Scotia is back this summer after a COVID-19 hiatus. This summer it features Halifax rockers Sloan, Canadian legend Tom Cochrane, Glass Tiger, Serena Ryder, Barn Bhreagh, Jully Black, Joel Plaskett and more.
July 29, 30 and 31, set your destination for the riverfront in New Glasgow.
3) Halifax Jazz Festival
The Halifax Jazz Festival is taking over the Foundation Lot on the Halifax Waterfront from July 13 – 17 with a huge lineup as always.
We can’t wait to see Halifax’s own The Mellotones who will be celebrating 25 years. Stay tuned over the next while as the Festival announces their complete lineup!
4) Stan Rogers Folk Festival
The Stan Rogers Folk Festival takes place over July 22, 23 and 24 in Canso, NS. Stanfest is more than a traditional folk festival. The series pays tribute to Stan Roger’s legacy by celebrating songwriters and offering a mix of musical genres, and styles. This year they’re celebrating 25 years!
5) Broad Cove Scottish Concert
Taking place July 31, The Broad Cove Scottish Concert is deemed as the largest outdoor Scottish concert in Cape Breton. The concert holds great significance to the musical culture of Scottish heritage. Entertainment includes traditional piping, fiddling, dancing and singing.
