LIVE NOW: Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony
Athletes from around around the world have gathered in Beijing, China for the winter Olympics.
That includes Nova Scotia’s Jillian Saulnier of Halifax and New Glasgow’s Blayre Turnbull who will lace up skates for Canada’s women’s hockey team. Alex Grant of Antigonish will do the same, for the men’s hockey team. Truro’s Liam Moffatt will compete in Snowboard Cross.
Baddeck, NS will be represented by Jessica Wong who will be competing for China’s women’s hockey team.
