We absolutely love the Christmas season! Come fall, the Christmas craft shows begin and it’s a great time to support local and purchase some amazing gifts at the same time. There are plenty of craft shows across Nova Scotia, but we are featuring 5 of our favourite. Here they are, our 5 Favourite Christmas Craft Shows in Nova Scotia!
#1 Dartmouth Makers Winter Market, Dartmouth – November 22 & 23
The Dartmouth Makers Winter Market will be held at Christ Church Parish Hall on Ochterloney Street in Downtown Dartmouth.

#2 Christmas At The Forum, Halifax – November 1, 2 & 3
Affectionately known as "The Big One", Christmas At The Forum features over 325 diverse vendors from across Canada and is attended by about 25,000 people each year. #3 Christmas By The Sea, Lunenburg – November 30
Christmas by the Sea is an outdoor Christmas market in the timeless Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Booths of local crafts, food, arts, and many other unique vendors will line King Street in Lunenburg on November 30th between 12 pm and 9 pm. There will be warming stations and plenty of hot cocoa you will feel the warmth from your heart to your toes.
This event sails smoothly along with the annual Christmas Parade in the afternoon and the tree lighting at the Band Stand happening at 7 pm the same day! Check them out on Facebook.
#4 Christmas Festival Of Crafts, Sydney – November 15, 16 & 17
The Home Crafters of Cape Breton presents The Christmas Festival of Crafts at Centre 200 in Sydney. Last year's event featured over 150 local crafters. This year is sure to be another success!
#5 Christmas At The deCoste, Pictou – November 16 & 17
Enjoy their annual fundraiser “Christmas At The deCoste” Craft Fair which is the largest Christmas Vendor Show in Northern Nova Scotia with upwards 40 vendors to shop from. Everything from foods, alcoholic beverages, jewelry, homemade crafts, knitted items, decorations and all kinds of special items.
