10 Ways To Celebrate Canada Day in Nova Scotia!

Enjoy a pancake breakfast in DeWolf Park. After that check out Glow Party's Playground Palooza (ticketed event). Live music will feature Tyler Key.

Be sure to make your way to Chicken Little at the iconic Chicken Burger for an ice cream social, then back to Dewolf Park for more Canada Day celebrations and fireworks!

In Bruce Spicer Park you can catch live music from The Dearlies and get your face painted from 1-3pm. Free hot dogs, cake and games until 4pm.

Enjoy a pancake breakfast, kids parade, community market & BBQ! There will be music on the harbour and you guessed it, fireworks at dusk!

Take in the pancake breakfast at the Legion put on the The Lions Club and please bring a donation for the food bank. Games and entertainment will be happening at St. Andrew Junior School.

The highlight of the day is entertainment at Columbus Field featuring Natalie Decoste, Jr. Fraser, Mark MacDonald and Jay MacDonald. At night enjoy music by Sparrow and fireworks at dusk!

Kick the day off with a pancake breakfast and kids activities. Entertainment throughout the day will include Marc Durkee, Cameron Doucette, Triple Trouble, Elizabeth Wright and Jacques Surrette! Come dusk, take in the spectacular fireworks!

We can`t wait to see Port Citiies take the stage at 8:30pm with fireworks to follow at 10:00pm!

Canada Day kicks off at 11am sharp! Come out to Shipyards Landing and celebrate cultural diversity with a fun filled day of music, dance and cultural activities, art, kids games, crafts and food!

At 5pm it`s the King Street Kitchen Party. Lots of food trucks and live music in Pijinuiskaq Park along with games and entertainment,

Start your day with the flag raising at town hall and march to Fort Anne and savour a piece of of Canada Day cake! Set out your blanket for a picnic and enjoy the musical entertainment.

At Port Royal in the afternoon have a fun filled time with the family from 12-3pm.

Catch STIHL Timbersports Champions Trophy action on the waterfront. Then catch Canadian Country Music Award Winner, Jason Blaine and Pretty Archie on stage. Cape Breton's finest fireworks display will be at 10pm!

Take part in continuing traditions such as the flag raising and pancake breakfast. Family Funfest will be taking place on The Halifax Commons. Hang out with the famous Dartmouth Geese at Sullivan's Pond and take in some live music at the band stand. The Public Gardens will also have live music!

The main concert event will take place at Alderney Landing featuring international DJ Atrak, The Sorority, Elevator, KALLITECHNIS and Cape Breton's own Carmen Townsend!

Fireworks as always at 10pm on the Halifax and Dartmouth waterfronts.
