UPDATE: This story has been updated to reflect the 2022 opening date.

Sunflowers are a beautiful sight and a sure sign of summer. If you enjoy day trips, ten kilometres outside of Windsor, N.S. you will find picturesque Mount Denson, home of Dakeyne Farm.

If you love the thought of being one with nature and the idea of getting lost in a maze of sunflowers, this is an opportunity you don’t want to pass up!

Dakeyne Farm is the type of place you want to visit if you want to have a picnic in a field surrounded by yellow.

The Dakeyne Farm’s sunflower field is an Instagramer’s paradise and we highly recommend snapping a selfie with your crew. Be sure to place the hashtag #dakeynefarm on it. Please be mindful to stay on the paths as they’ve had issues with people crushing their flowers to get their photos..

The cost of admission for adults is $12. Kids 12 and under are $7 and children under three are free. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
