You know that spring has officially arrived when blossoms appear on trees. Whether they are apple blossoms in the Annapolis Valley or cherry blossoms near the Dartmouth Common, it’s a sure sign that winter has gone to sleep and summer is coming.
Downtown Dartmouth is like an Instagram paradise right now as the cherry blossoms have popped on Park Avenue. You can enjoy the views from the Dartmouth Common and support a Downtown Dartmouth business at the same time.
The trees are in their later stage of life according to Dartmouth Centre City Councilor, Sam Austin. If you visit, you will see that the city has replaced some of the trees that have died in recent years.
Take a walk under the Park Avenue cherry blossoms and be sure to tag #DowntownDartmouth in your photos.
