There’s always a mad dash to book campsites in Nova Scotia’s 20 provincial camping parks. The dates to book your summer camping adventure are coming up.
Nova Scotians can begin to book their nights in parks on April 6, 7 and 8 with most campgrounds and parks scheduled to open the Victoria Day weekend.
A schedule of when campgrounds open their reservations and at what time is on the Nova Scotia Provincial Parks website.
Only registered campers will be permitted to enter provincial campgrounds.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, public health restrictions may change the start time of reservations, park openings and services offered. For up-to-date information, you can visit here.
“Each year, more than a million visitors enjoy activities like swimming, camping, paddling, nature exploration and hiking at Nova Scotia’s provincial parks and beaches,” said Lands and Forestry Minister Chuck Porter.
“We will continue to follow public health guidelines so everyone can enjoy camping in our province.”
Nova Scotia has a new provincial parks website and upgraded reservation service that will make it easier to find and book a campsite this year.
