Pictou Lodge Beach Resort has no availability in 2023 on their website and according to a letter to customers, the Lodge is shutting down.
According to The Advocate, Pictou Lodge has wrapped up business and is closing its gates for good.
The Advocate says. Kate Surett, manager of the facility, announced the closure in an e-mail sent to customers who had events booked.
Pictou Lodge suffered extensive damage from Hurricane Fiona. According to Surrett’s email, the ownership has decided it cannot continue to operate following a lengthy insurance process.
In a previous interview, Surrett said a lot of weddings had already been booked for 2023.
The owners have reportedly told staff that customers with deposits will receive refunds.
