Nova Scotia Campsite Bookings Begin Soon

Nova Scotia campers who may be planning a summer adventure should be aware of the following dates. Reservations for the 2020 camping season at provincial parks will begin to be taken April 2nd and 3rd at 9am.

There are 20 provincial parks with campsites on mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. These spots sell out fast so it’s best to be ready to book!

A schedule of which campgrounds open for reservations on which day is posted on the provincial parks website. Reservations can be made online or by phone at 1-888-544-3434 beginning at 9am on those days.

“Nova Scotia’s natural beauty and coastal access draw residents and tourists to provincial parks in all corners of our province,” said Lands and Forestry Minister Iain Rankin. “This year, campers can look forward to more serviced sites and other improvements to our properties when they go online to reserve their campsites.”

Most camping and day-use parks will open Victoria Day weekend and others will open in June. Campers can check the provincial parks website for information on openings.
