AFAR, the award-winning travel magazine and media brand, has revealed its list of the world’s best new hotels of 2023. It includes the Muir hotel, located in the absolute centre of downtown, on the edge of Halifax’s picturesque waterfront. Muir is ranked alongside hotels in Tanzania, Indonesia, New Zealand, Italy and more.
Since the hotel’s opening in December 2021, Halifax’s Muir has welcomed travellers to a refined, distinctly Nova Scotian experience. Muir says it sets a new standard for luxury inspired by the region’s rich cultural history, raw and physical beauty, and enduring character.
Muir offers unprecedented waterfront views and its 109 rooms promise comfort and serenity, and feature original Nova Scotian art.
