Nova Scotia country music star George Canyon has thrown his hat into the ring for the next federal election announcing he will be running for the Conservatives in the riding of Central Nova. The popular incumbent, Sean Fraser will be facing off against George when the election is called. Also in the race are NDP candidate, Betsy MacDonald and Green Party candidate, Barry Randle.
Don’t expect to see George at your doorstep campaigning just yet. He’s expected to continue his country music tour through the election.
