If you live in Cape Breton or are an Islander abroad and haven’t been tuning into Garbage Night Sessions. than perhaps you’ve been living under a rock!
Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, on Thursday evenings, you have been able to tune into live music streams featuring Jenn Sheppard, Stephen Muise and Jordyn Crocker. They also have a weekly guest or two and raise funds for a local charity.
Guests have included Bette MacDonald, Lucy MacNeil and Jordan Musycsyn among others.
This week they’re featuring the talented, one and only, Matt Anderson on their live stream. Matt is a powerhouse performer with a giant, soul-filled voice who has won multiple awards. Matt currently resides in Nova Scotia and is a regular visitor to Cape Breton.
You can win tickets to Johnny Reid’s My Bonnie Lass (which sold out in three minutes) at The Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay by tuning in to Garbage Night Sessions on Facebook and following the directions in the their Facebook post.
