All of Nova Scotia will be throwing their support behind 19-year-old Evan Turnbull of Glace Bay, Cape Breton when he competes on the upcoming second season of Canada’s Got Talent.
Turnbull, is no stranger to Nova Scotia Buzz viewers. He performed in two of the fundraisers we streamed in support of Feed Nova Scotia. He was introduced by fellow Glace Bay native and fan, Matt Minglewood.
Turnbull will be competing for a grand prize that includes $150,000 and the opportunity to perform in America’s Got Talent Presents: SUPERSTARS Live in Las Vegas.

Each province represented has multiple acts, but Turnbull will be the lone Nova Scotian on the national talent show. He will be competing against other singers, dancers, magicians, extreme athletes, death-defying acts and several contestants with one-of-a-kind abilities.
The season premier, starring judges Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Trish Status and Kardinal Offishall airs March 21 at 9 PM Atlantic (8 PM Eastern) on Citytv.
The show’s 2-hour season finale airs May 16 from Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
