As We Move Farther Into Opening These Nova Scotia Students Sing Exactly What Is Needed

Halifax’s Shambala School’s grade four and five students recorded a masterpiece during the pandemic and just released their work as a post online.

Students recorded Johnny Nash’s “I Can See Clearly Now” and it’s a great pick me up for the dark clouds that finally seem to be parting from the pandemic.

The vocals and some keyboards were recorded at the same time by cellphone cameras, during the distance learning from home. When students returned to the school and to finish the year they recorded the drums, bass, guitar, more keyboards and percussion that you see them playing in their music video.

Performers:

Vocals: Ellie, Totally Electric Sloth Girl, Eli, Freezy Q, Hilah, Nini C, Morgan
Pianos: Soundwave, Morgan
Synth: Frank
Electric Piano: Morgan
Guitar: Wolfgang
Bass Guitar: Wilder
Tambourines: Ayalah, Sunny
Congas: Morgan
Cabasa: Frank
Shaker: Wolfgang
Drums: Rowan
