Nostalgia is big these days, and a huge piece of Canadian nostalgia will be returning to 25 select Hundson’s Bay locations across Canada.
Nova Scotia Buzz can confirm after speaking with employees of Hudson’s Bay who wish to remain anonymous that both their Mic Mac Mall store in Dartmouth and Mayflower Mall store in Sydney will have Zellers locations in their stores.
Zellers has been teasing of its comeback on social media and Zellers.ca.
Plenty of Nova Scotians are also requesting the return of Zellers Restaurant and Zellers has teased “Maybe…” on their social media. “Breakfast is our favourite meal of the day too!” said Zellers on Instagram. “About the restaurant coming back… guess you’ll have to wait and see!”
Hudson’s Bay has said that Zellers would return first online and then open its locations early in 2023. A large area has been cleared since the holidays in their Sydney store and speculation is this is where they will house Zellers. Since this location looks set to open soon, look for Zellers to launch online even sooner and the location in the Dartmouth Hudson’s Bay shortly after!
