Environment Canada is advising of a brief but intense snowfall that may cause a challenging morning commute. Prepare to adjust your driving if necessary.
Most of mainland Nova Scotia can expect up to 10cm of snow during the period of 6am to 10am on Wednesday morning.
“A short period of heavy snow will move from west to east across mainland Nova scotia Wednesday morning during the rush hour.” says the Special Weather Statement. “Snowfall rates could approach 5 cm per hour, resulting in very poor visibilities. Conditions will improve quickly as the snow moves east later Wednesday morning.”
