Those Returning To Halifax From Dominican Republic And Toronto Notified Of COVID-19 Exposures On Flights

Public Health is notifying those who travelled from Toronto and also The Dominican Republic to Halifax on specific flights that they must self isolate immediately.

Those on these flights must follow the instructions for COVID-19 close contacts based on their vaccination status and whether they have symptoms. Details can be found here.

Follow the instructions if you are in the following groups:

• Air Canada 602 travelling on Jan. 8 from Toronto (7:00 a.m.) to Halifax (10:02 a.m.). Passengers in rows 16 to 22, seats A, B, C and D. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Jan. 22.

• Air Canada 1405 travelling on Jan. 8 from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (2:45 p.m.) to Halifax (7:05 p.m.). Passengers in rows 20 to 26, seats A, C, D, E and F. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Jan. 22.
