The Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) is looking to ensure an adequate workforce to deliver care and services during the Coronavirus pandemic. They’re accepting applications from those who are currently not employed with NSHA as casual relief workers for many positions.

- Housekeeper & Environmental Services Worker
- Food Services Worker
- Porter
- Power Engineer
- Electrician
- Plumber
- Carpenter
- Steamfitter
- Welder
- Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Technician
- General Maintenance Worker
- Unit Aide
- Other support opportunities as they arise
By applying you accept you may be assigned to work in Long Term Care or publicly funded health care entities, although you will be paid by the NSHA. Simply apply and let them know your preference of location.
If your applying to work in Housekeeping & Environmental Services, Food Service Worker or Porter, you need your grade 12 or equivalent. Previous housekeeping or food handling experience is an asset.
For Engineering Services or specialized trade positions, ensure your resume includes your education, licenses and certifications for your designation.
