Nova Scotia Health Public Health has advised of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in Western and Central Zones and one Halifax Transit route.
Self-isolation and testing requirements are based upon vaccination status. Find this information in the table below.
COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION (there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public) If you were present at any of the following locations or on the following transit route for at least 15 minutes on the named dates and times, you are required to follow the instructions in the table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status.
- Paddy’s Pub (42 Aberdeen Street, Kentville) on October 14 between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 28.
- Julep Kitchen and Cocktails (1684 Barrington Street, Halifax) on October 14 between 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 28.
- Durty Nelly’s (1645 Argyle Street, Halifax) on October 14/15 between 10:30 p.m. (Oct. 14) and 1:30 a.m. (Oct. 15). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 29.
- Finbar’s Irish Pub (1595 Bedford Highway, Bedford), any patrons who visited on:
- October 12 between 9:20 a.m. and 10:30 p.m.
- October 13 between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- October 14 between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- October 15/16 between 2:30 p.m. (Oct. 15) and 12:30 a.m. (Oct. 16)
It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 30.
- Oxford Taproom (6418 Quinpool Road, Halifax) on October 16 between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 30.
- Propeller Brewing Company (6128 Quinpool Road, Halifax) on October 16 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 30.
- Foggy Goggle (2057 Gottingen Street, Halifax) on October 16 between 6:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 30.
- Barrington Steakhouse (1662 Barrington Street, Halifax) on October 16 between 8:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 30.
- Halifax Transit Route #007 (Robie) which ran from North Ridge to Novalea on October 16 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 30.

Nova Scotia Health asks when booking your test online, select the reason for testing as: I was at one of the exposure sites at the date and time identified in a recent Public Health public service announcement or letter where testing was recommended. Get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location.
