Nova Scotians Are Playing Local Online Pub Trivia By The Thousands. The Next Game Is Tonight!

Many people in the province head to their local pubs for trivia nights once a week. Those have been cancelled as of late, but never fear! A few local groups are hosting online and Nova Scotians are tuning into pub trivia by the thousands while stuck in their homes. Anyone can play!

We’ve had three different groups reach out and ask us to inform you of the games that are happening online for the foreseeable future. The games are open to anyone who wishes to play. Some even have prizes! Tonight you can win weekend passes to New Glasgow’s Riverfront Jubilee.

The first online pub trivia game is tonight, March 31st, hosted by New Glasgow’s Foxy Entertainment. You will normally find the company hosting trivia night at Shenanigans Pub. The game will begin at 8pm online and there is room for 100 to play. First place tonight wins two weekend passes to The Riverfront Jubilee. A link to the game will be posted in this Facebook event 30 minutes before game time: Foxy Entertainment is hoping to host games with 500 players soon.

Next this week is live streamed trivia hosted by Downtown Trivia based out of Sydney. You can tune in on Friday, April 3 at 8:00pm. They’ve had over 350 people playing and raised $550 for Loaves & Fishes and The Sydney Curling Club. You can play along on their Facbook page here:

Finally, returning will be Halifax Pub Trivia. Andrew Evans and Jason Dorey had almost 2,000 people playing along during their first live stream event. Their next game will be Monday, April 6. You can join their online stream on Facebook here:

Enjoy the live streamed games, raise some money or maybe win a sweet prize!
