Nova Scotia Reports Two Deaths, One In Central, One In Western – Two New Cases Of COVID-19 (Tuesday, June 22, 2021)

There will be a COVID-19 Update at 3:00PM today.

Nova Scotia is reporting two deaths related to COVID-19. Within Central Zone, a man in his 60’s passed away.  In Western Zone a man in his 50’s passed away.

The province is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 and five recoveries.

One new case is in Central Zone and is a close contact of a previously reported case. The second case is in Western Zone and is related to travel.

There is limited community spread in Central Zone. Eastern, Northern and Western Zones continue to be closely monitored for community spread.

Nova Scotia currently has 74 active cases and two are in hospital.

Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 3,323 tests yesterday.
