The Province of Nova Scotia has announced that we have gone two weeks without a reported case of COVID-19.
There are zero active cases currently in Nova Scotia. The province has seen 1,067 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 64 deaths related to the virus.
As of yesterday, neighbouring provinces in the Atlantic travel bubble had active cases.
New Brunwick had three active cases and Newfoundland and Labrador had four. PEI was reporting no active cases.
Nova Scotia has recorded one additional death related to COVID-19. A female in her 60’s with underlying medical conditions died several weeks ago in the Eastern Zone. The death has been under investigation to determine if COVID-19 was a factor.
