On September 21, 1992, Kenley Matheson was in his first year of university at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. He would then disappear without a trace.
Some including the police initially believed he could have gone missing on his own accord. Other people believed he could have taken his own life. Or, was he in the wrong place at the wrong time and murdered by someone he just met.

During Kenley’s first two weeks of attending school in the Annapolis Valley, he had travelled with some friends to Corkum’s Island in Lunenburg County for the weekend. He returned to Acadia and attended a party on campus on the weekend of September 18 and was seen by his sister and others at Crowell Tower on Acadia’s campus on September 20.
To this day, the case remains a mystery and is now the subject of a gripping 5-episode, 10-part investigative documentary series streaming on Amazon Prime in Canada and other services.

In 2017 as part of their on-going investigation, RCMP released an age progression sketch of what Kenley may look like today.
