The call went out for help via social media in a bay area near Digby, Nova Scotia called The Joggins. This is not to be confused with Joggins in Cumberland County.

According to a social media post by Michael Renaud a pod of 11 to 12 dolphins beached themselves or got stuck during low-tide.
His report from the scene says local volunteers have sprung into action with the assistance of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, RCMP and Digby Fire.

Rescuers are working hard to keep the dolphins alive until high tide.
