Environment Canada has issued Heat Warnings for portions of Nova Scotia for today through Friday. Areas include southern and central Nova Scotia.

Expect temperatures of 29 to 32 degrees with a Humidex reaching 36 to 40. High humidity will bring little relief overnight.
The alert is likely to be expanded eastwards on Thursday, but relief will come Friday as an expected cold front will pass through. Areas of the coast will remain cooler during this event.
“Watch for the effects of heat illness: swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions. Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle. Outdoor workers should take regularly scheduled breaks in a cool place.” says Environment Canada.
