Halifax Winter Parking Ban In Place Overnight

The Halifax Regional Municipality has announced the overnight winter parking ban will be enforced from 1 to 6am Saturday, January 21 in both Zone 1-Central and Zone 2-Non-Central. This will allow crews to properly clear streets and sidewalks.

Vehicles must be parked off municipal streets during these hours. A reminder that you can be towed anytime, day or night, at anytime of year, if you are interfering with snow-clearing operations.

Residents are warned it is against By-Law S-300 to pile snow in the street or on sidewalks.
