Applications are now being accepted for this position which includes full time hours, pension and great benefits. During training you will make $20.88 per hour and after, for the remainder of your first 12 months of you will make $22.27 per hour.

New drivers will contribute to the mobility of the city and getting passengers to work, home and school. Halifax Transit carries over 19 million passengers per year. They service the urban core of the municipality, namely Halifax, Bedford and Dartmouth areas, along with adjacent outlying communities.
Halifax Transit operates over 300 buses on 70 routes, 365 days a year and close to 24 hours per day.
If you have Grade 11 or equivalent education and related experience, plus three years of customer service experience and five years of recent driving experience, consider applying.
