Something we all can look forward to after isolation and social distancing rules loosen is a summer we won’t ever forget.
Environment Canada is forecasting above normal temperatures for Nova Scotia in two – four months from now which brings us right through summer. Even the whole remainder of the year will bring pleasant temps.
David Phillips, Environment Canada’s Senior Climatologist says the Maritimes experienced a milder winter than most of Canada with April being colder than average. We can expect to continue with colder than average temperatures for a few weeks into the first half of May.
But then, “Everywhere you can see, we think that summer looks summer-like in Canada,” Phillips told CTV News. “Good beer-drinking weather, good muscle shirt, tank top kind of weather.”
