Gas Prices To Drop At Midnight Across Nova Scotia

If you’re gas tank is low, you might want to wait to fill up. The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board is invoking the interrupter clause and changing the price of gasoline and diesel at midnight.

“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market prices of gasoline and diesel oil,” the board said in a news release.

The release doesn’t state which direction the change will go, but gas prices should dip below the $1 mark and hover around the 95 cent per litre mark in Halifax and a bit higher in areas like Yarmouth and Sydney.

Over the past two days the price of crude oil has drastically fallen on world markets.
