Environment Canada has just expanded a Snowfall Warning to all of Nova Scotia.
“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.” says the government department. “Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.”
Nova Scotians can generally expect to see 15 to 20 cm of snow starting early Friday morning in the west and expanding east across the province Friday.
According to Environment Canada some could potentially see 30 cm. For those along the coast, there is a chance the snow may mix with rain at times, which could reduce accumulations.
The system will move out Saturday.
