Cole Harbour’s Sidney Crosby Just Broke Another Record: Highest Earning Player In NHL History

Sidney Crosby is no stranger to awards and the NHL record books. At the conclusion of this season, the Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia native added another feather to his cap.

According to a website that tracks NHL players salaries, Crosby took the #1 position for all time career earnings with an estimated $129,085,243.

It is estimated Crosby took home about $850,000 his first year playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He certainly has come a long way in 16 years considering he took home less than $1 million his first year.
