UPDATE: The suspect is in custody and the lock down at Central Kings Rural High School has been lifted. There was a hold and secure in place at Cambridge and District Elementary School that has also been lifted. Police will remain on scene.

EARLIER: Kings District RCMP are on scene at Central Kings Rural High School in Cambridge, Nova Scotia as a result of a threat to a student.
The school is currently on lock down. No one is allowed entry and the public is being asked to avoid the area to allow police to do their work.
