Another Ride From Upper Clements Park Is For Sale On Facebook Marketplace

Upper Clements Park, once a popular theme park in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, now sits abandoned, overgrown with weeds, and silent. The sounds of families laughing and the wooden roller coaster’s creaks are all but memories. Despite the quiet, not all of the park’s attractions have vanished. Trevor MacDonald, a proud Nova Scotian, decided to preserve some key pieces when the Municipality of the County of Annapolis auctioned off the park’s equipment in 2021.

MacDonald bought and sold Evangeline, the iconic train that used to carry families around the park. Now he has revealed he also has the Park’s bumper cars, which he recently listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

In his ad, he shared that six of the bumper cars are in working condition and available either individually or as a group, complete with spare parts. “Very cool pieces from the park,” he noted. You can purchase everything MacDonald has from the bumper car ride for $18,000, or $3,000 per car.

MacDonald’s efforts to save these rides have stirred fond memories for many who once visited Upper Clements Park. Although the park remains closed, Trevor MacDonald keeps part of its spirit alive, ensuring pieces of Nova Scotia’s history isn’t entirely lost.

We asked MacDonald what else he may have saved from Upper Clements Park. “Wait and see what comes next!” was his response.
