Breaking: Strang Says Schools Unlikely To Open Next Week Or Week After

Dr. Robert Strang, Chief Medical Officer of Health for Nova Scotia said during today’s COVID-19 update that it is unlikely schools will open next week or the week after.

An official announcement is due on Friday, May 7, 2021.

The Province of Nova Scotia reported 146 new COVID-19 cases today. There are 943 active cases.

At time of the official release today there are currently 40 patients in hospital. Six were admitted to the intensive care unit. During today’s COVID-19 update, the Premier stated that number is now higher.
