Beach Alert: Forecast Says Parts Of Nova Scotia To Be Warmer Than Miami Next Week

It is hard to believe it’s the start of June and we’re talking about forecasted temperatures reaching 33 degrees in areas of Nova Scotia.

The weekend is looking pretty great, but it’s Monday and Tuesday next week that are going to be real scorchers on the east coast.

According to Environment Canada, we could see some areas with highs of 33 degrees on Monday and 32 on Tuesday. Much of the province will also be under nothing but sunny skies.

You never know, we may even see a heat warning issued for parts of the province. Heat warnings are issued when the temperature is at least 30 degrees and the humidex value exceeds 40 degrees.

The excessive heat heading this way means parts of Nova Scotia are forecast to be warmer than Miami, FL on Monday and Tuesday. Be sure to note it will be cooler along parts of the coast and in areas of Cape Breton. Parking spots at the local beach are going to be a hot commodity.

Be mindful of pets and children, never leave them alone in a vehicle.
