Look what we found at the Braemar Superstore in Dartmouth! This Atlantic Superstore location is now offering customers paper bags as a substitute for plastic in their produce section! We love this and give it a big thumbs up! Keep in mind, their Quinpool Road location in Halifax completely removed plastic bags from their checkouts in 2008.
Sobeys has already stated that they will be removing plastic bags from their 255 locations by the end of January 2020. The chain said this will take 225 million plastic bags per year out of circulation.
