UPDATE: The subject of last night’s Amber Alert has been found safe.
The alert was issued by Cape Breton Regional Police for a missing 15-year-old. He was reported missing from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and was believed to be travelling with his mother.
A vehicle was found abandoned along Highway 104 in East Mountain, near Truro and a search was launched.
