Hit Up Your Local Tim Hortons, Today Is Camp Day – Here’s What’s Different This Year

Be sure to stop by your local Tim Hortons today to buy your morning and afternoon coffee or iced coffee. It’s their famous Camp Day.

“Camp Day is one of my favourite days of the year because we get to show Tim Hortons guests how much their donation means to us as well as how far a purchase of a cup of coffee or bracelet can truly go,” says Hrithik Sharma, a former camper.

“Without the opportunities the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps has provided me, I don’t think I would be as confident, capable or driven as I am today, and I want to make sure that these same opportunities continue on for the next generation of campers.”

One hundred percent of sales from their famous coffee and this year for the first time, iced coffee goes towards Tim Horton’s Foundation Camps. As well, you can donate $2 and receive one of four bracelets. You can also round up your purchase to the nearest dollar.

Tim Hortons Foundation Camps have helped close to 300,000 youth in disadvantaged circumstances change their stories for the better.

The camps which have operated for the past four decades will be a little different this year.

This years camps are virtual Tims eCamps. The eCamps kicked off during the first week of July and run for eight weeks. Campers are grouped into eCabins and are being supported and guided by eCounsellors to build social, emotional and developmental skills.
