Tim Hortons Foundation Camps have helped close to 300,000 youth in disadvantaged circumstances change their stories for the better.
This year on August 12, Tim Hortons locations from coast to coast will celebrate one of Canada’s favourite fundraisers, Camp Day.
All proceeds from sales of hot coffee and this year for the first time iced coffee will be donated to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
You also have the option between July 29 and August 12 to donate $2 and receive one of four bracelets. You can also round up your purchase to the nearest dollar.
The camps which have operated for the past four decades will be a little different this year.
This years camps are virtual Tims eCamps. The eCamps kicked off during the first week of July and run for eight weeks. Campers are grouped into eCabins and are being supported and guided by eCounsellors to build social, emotional and developmental skills.
“Whether we’re in-person at one of our seven camp locations, or virtual at this year’s Tims eCamp, our leading youth development programming can be life changing for our youth who need it most,” says Dave Newnham, President of Tim Hortons Foundations Camps.
